About the Trainer

Cyronne Counts is a certified personal trainer with the National Personal Training Association. She has experience with group and individual training with clients of varying fitness levels.

Her fitness journey began in 1994 when she reached her highest weight of 288 pounds. With no formal training or guidance, better eating habits, and working out seven days a week, by 1995 Cyronne was 100 pounds lighter. The local gym owner recognized her passion for fitness and encouraged Cyronne to become a fitness instructor.

After receiving two aerobic certifications from NDEITA (National Dance Exercise Instructor Training Association) and AFAA (American Fitness Association of America) in November 1995 and February 1996 respectively, Cyronne began her fitness career in 1995 as a step and kickboxing aerobics instructor at Big Bend Fitness in Perry, FL.

Cyronne relocated to Atlanta in 1996, and began teaching step aerobics 3-5 days per week at several fitness facilities including Ladies Workout Express and Gold’s Gym in Austell, GA from 1996-1999.

After 2 challenging pregnancies, Cyronne restarted teaching fitness classes and received her Jazzercise certification in December 2002. Cyronne motivated her students by teaching challenging, yet fun classes with energizing music and dance moves that provided a total body workout.

Motivating others to make their health a priority has always been a personal goal for Cyronne. In January 2005, Cyronne appeared in a Parents Magazine feature story on parents who were motivated to lead healthy lives. She was chosen from hundreds of candidates due to her own success at losing weight, but mostly for her success at motivating others to make fitness a priority for the well-being of oneself and the family.

In June 2007, Cyronne began managing the Jazzercise classes at Hunter Park in Douglasville, GA. With the desire to expand and offer more class options for the customers, she opened the Douglasville Jazzercise Fitness Center in the Douglas Corner Shopping Center in September 2008. As a Jazzercise fitness instructor and center owner, Cyronne taught 5-7 classes per week. The center closed in 2012 after 4 successful years.

Later in 2012, Cyronne found her new fit passion...bodybuilding! From 2012-2017 She competed in 3 regional competitions and 1 national competition, placing 1st, 2nd, 2nd, and 9th, respectively.

Post-bodybuilding, Cyronne has enjoyed maintaining her first lifestyle with the help of Peloton, and her home gym!
